The Meritorious Service Badge is described as "an eagle facing outward, clutching a sword and the shield of the APS, superimposed on a wreath of oakleaves."
-Placement-
The Meritorious Service Badge is worn on the center of the pocket 1/4 to 1/2 inch below the center point of the clam of the pocket flap.
-Gold-
The Highest award of the American Patriots Society, only given to those involving conspicuous risk of life going above and beyond the call of duty, displaying spontaneous gallantry, bravery, and or self-sacrifice.
-Silver-
Awarded to those who go above and beyond the call of duty in adverse and dangerous conditions, show outstanding resolve under pressure, and or are seriously or grievously injured in the line of duty.
-Bronze-
Awarded to those who distinguish themselves apart by continuously putting service before self, the wellbeing of others before their own, have outstanding resolve under pressure, and or be exceedingly reliable.
